I Was Wrong

I was wrong in my old post. Wait. The post before this:- Pre-Birthday Insanity. Okay? I admit. I was wrong.

I was tired from walking under the hot sun. And I was hungry.

I didn't expect that Jeen and Jane to go through so much trouble to get me cupcakes from Wondermilk! I hadn't eaten it yet because it is too pretty!

Clement, knowing I love the Stitch on his phone gave it to me! And Jason drew Stitch for me while the others signed it. My God! I was shocked. Happy and. Thankful.

Thanks guys. I was wrong about my past birthdays. :)

Officially 26

At 9 am, I officially turned 26. I received a phone call from Athena. Honestly, this is my first birthday away from everybody. I spoke to Aunty Mimi who called after Athena and my parents did. I even spoke to Kak Wen :)

And this Serena, she is the ONE person who made me laugh when I saw my Facebook today!

That crazy girl called me a Cougar! XD OI WOMAN, IF YOU ARE READING THIS ENTRY, WHY SUCH A GLOOMY PICTURE? YOU KNOW JULIANA AND I LOVES THIS SMILE AND BLUE EYES *squees*

Whatever it is, she is my BFF :)

Pre-Birthday Insanity

I am NOT looking forward to my birthday. It is like every other year (except LAST YEAR). Thank God tomorrow, I've only got ONE class. Anyway, today, after class, Lai Yee and I went out... we went to the Curve to be exact.

I just had to get myself a birthday present. TWO BOOKS AND A CHINESE MOVIE.

THOSE WERE THE DAYS on DVD. Starring... *squee* Jordan Chan... Heheh!

Hehehe. All that BELOW RM80! :D

Current song is Ah Niu's Dui Mian De Nu Hai Kan Guo Lai. It is such a CUTE song!

Anyway, I hope... by being 26th, God makes me stronger and more aware of the world. I am not asking for anything except for me to be wiser and stronger. Amin.

Classes Today

Mr. Tan didn't come in as he had to do something but we had Joanna Lee (the other Joanna Lee, I mean) I find her pretty awesome since the workshop the other day, too. The Blur Blast Lecturer. Hehe.

Anyway, we were talking about GLOBALIZATION during Mass Communication class and since the word GLOBALIZATION is such a mouthful, Joanna said to call it the "G-Word" and SOME smart ass (yours truly) said, "that sounded wrong!" *laughs*

I kinda enjoyed classes today despite me being tired and sweaty and hungry.

Jeen Pei, Joey, Syaf and I ended up at 1 Utama to have sushi. It was awesome. Honestly, cheaper than Sushi King, too. Tomorrow, I might be going out with my housemate, Lai Yee.

Day after tomorrow would be... my birthday... NOT looking forward to it, unfortunately. I feel like there will be some fun to it with my friends but honestly, I am so used to celebrating my birthdays with my parents, sisters and even my beloved Aunty Mimi.

Owh, which reminds me, I miss Aunty Mimi. Aunty Mimi is like a mother to my sisters and I when my Mum isn't in Kuching. I enjoy going out with her for a few things... She always have something to talk about especially her beloved (Aunty) June. The other thing about Aunty Mimi is, NOBODY would believe her age. She is NOT in her 50s or 60s. She is older than that and she look like as if she is still around my Mum's age (NOTE: my Mum is in her late 50s).

Anyway, tomorrow, I will be having Computer Graphics. Honestly, I dread CG assignments because I SUCK at the pen tool! LOL!

I should try hit the sacks now. I am sleepy. I shouldn't have drunk the Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino. I bought it because I loved the taste AND THE BOTTLE. Yes, I am still obsessed with bottle collecting! I don't like the other two flavours. I prefer the mocha.

Hehe, and today at 1 Utama, ended with disappointment. I FOUND MY OLD CHANG KEE BUT... NO CARROT CAKE! T__T

Another Bahasa Sarawak Post

Kenak aku kecik ati glak ngan olahan manusia yang asa dirik nya bagus glak? Senang jak nya nak nghina orang skati. Bagei lah kau ya bagus glak!

Bebenar aku heran ngan nya aiegh. Mun nak nangga kesalahan orang nang nya bagus glak tapi bila nak nangga kesalahan dirik mpun, tutup sebelah mata! Bila aku bisin, aku juak jadi jaek!

I rant better in Bahasa Sarawak because it sounds better when I do. It doesn't sound as harsh!

Ignorantly Stupid

You know how people say that ignorant is bliss but there are some parts where I think our people are too annoyingly ignorant.

I was on Facebook and one of my friends mentioned about Chap Goh Meh being the Chinese Valentine's Day and one of her idiot of a friend (who, by the way is, MALAY) said, "Isn't it the day when the ghost come out?"

Hello! The Chinese has a month when the Hungry Ghost come out. NOT EVERY MONTH OR FESTIVAL HAS GHOST! Idiot. That guy must either be ignorant, a bimbo (male bimbo) or just racist.

I find it amazing that the Malays EXPECT the Chinese to respect their ways and customs but the Malays themselves have NO RESPECT for other people. The Malays wouldn't be Muslim if wasn't for the Chinese (and Arab merchants).

Yes, sorry to burst your bubbles, THE CHINESE FROM CHINA BROUGHT ISLAM INTO TANAH MELAYU! While you people were still chasing pigs or boars in the cave, the Chinese in China had already embraced Islam! So, QUIT being IGNORANT OR RACIST towards the Chinese!

I happened to have a lot of anti-Chinese friends and I sometimes HATE them. Some of them claim they don't hate them but it is obvious they don't really trust them.

Openly I admit, I would rather make friend with the Chinese because they tend to be there for you more than anyone else of the same race. I am sounding racist to my own race. I am because most of the Malays I know are sticks in the mud! They are not exactly the best of people of befriend with!

Jee.. Someday, good ol' Karma will BITE them back.

McDonald's The Devil

Just as I published my post, my doorbell rang.

Mr. McDelivery sent me my dinner.

HAHAHA. Now, I am so full I feel like puking!

Hello KL, I Am Back

Hungry.

Food on the plane. Sucked. Not as good as it normally is.

I ordered food from McDonald's and...

I AM IMPRESSED!

Sounds weird but I really am impressed. This is my second time ordering from the apartment and when I called today, they asked for my phone number and IMMEDIATELY they knew my name. Obviously, they have a system of past customers... The last time I ordered, within 5 minutes the guy was grinning at my door with my food! :D

Today, something must have happened that my food isn't here. Yet. :(

I am still impressed though. When I called the Delivery Line, the operator asked for my number and he immediately gave me my name AND the price of my order!

If you ask me, McDonald's is very efficient now. The delivery service deserve thumbs up.

I am not complaining I am just impressed that McDonald's McDelivery Services had improved. Maybe, it is because I am in the capital city of Malaysia... if it was in Kuching, my sisters would have all sort of thing to rant about this. Haha!

*sighs* I shall end this post with the one word I started it with...

How devastated the poor thing might have been. HAHA!

Steo's Eulogy (PART II)

Stephen loved to laugh and by God did we laugh! We had the most unusual sense of humour… If he were here right now he would say, ‘hey Ro, I’m looking for a stained glass window, if you see one around let me know!’

He had nick-names for all of us. Keith was Kitty, Shane was Shanice, Mikey was Mikeala and I was Rosaleen. Of course, he was Stephanie.

He loved it when we were all together laughing and joking. He provided us with so many funny lines throughout the BZ days, some you may have heard and some in this house I can not repeat!

We were the campest straight band we knew (except for one fella… and he knows who he is)! That is why Steo always felt so comfortable in Boyzone. He thought he was the best camper in the world… He wasn't even the best Camper in the band! Isn’t that right, Duster?

He was so excited at the prospect of the new BZ studio album. He called me last Friday, after receiving a bunch of new songs, saying how much he loved them, saying lets go lets go lets go!

He was putting the finishing touches to his first book, ‘The Tree of Seasons’. There are a few pages left and by hook or by crook, those who loved him and there are so many in this room, will help finish it.

We now pray for his guidence and spirit to show us the way.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I say that the world has lost one of its brightest stars, we have lost our brother and I have lost my wing man.

He will live on in the songs and whenever us four are together. His spirit is alive so, for Steo, we will carry on but it will never be the same without him.

A beautiful man who is now the perfect angel… forever young and never forgotten.
A man, a friend, a brother, a son, a husband and a hero.

We are going to really miss ya brother, we love ya pal and we always will.

I didn't like hearing Ronan's voice at the end. You could almost tell that they loved each other like brothers.

Tomorrow means my 2nd last day in Kuching. I am happy to go but I am not happy to go. I am happy because finally, I can forget all those idiots I blog so much about in my blog entries lately. I am going back to where I TRULY enjoy myself.

I admit, I get less stressful in KL..

Honestly.

I can't wait to get back to KL. After exactly 12 days, my parents, my sisters and ATHENA will be going to KL. I get to go home to Mont Kiara on Thursday night! Yey! Though it is a week after my birthday, I can still eventually celebrate late birthday dinner with my parents, sisters and niece. I honestly, prefer spending time in KL with my family than in Kuching because Kuching means a hell lot of friends who I enjoy hanging out with. Dedek is one example. Though he is working, we can still hang out. At his shop! Haha and the noise coming from that shop will be enough to know our existence there.

Dedek is an awesome guy friend... I like to see how he communicates with people and how he and Akim can click within seconds.

Owh well.

I want to back to KL but I don't want to. I love it there but I love it here, if MINUS idiots like them. Unfortunately, Kuching has too many idiots, whom I feel like killing if I meet them.

I hate to see my notification request page (Facebook) being infested by invitation to join groups that has things to do with EASY MONEY.

I have been pretty angsty since I got back. I am because the people around me are just... ARGH! Thank God for my family (especially Athena) and Akim's family.

That is my favourite picture with Juliana which was taken at Memories Cafe the last night of Ramadhan (2008) after I dumped my bastard of an ex! Hence the puffy eyes.. Haha! But with Juliana, I know I will always laugh the night away! That was also the night Athena ended up spending her Raya in the hospital because of jaundice :(

And that is my other favourite taken at Taman Sahabat, 2008. People actually thought we went to China! Weird! Hahaa!

I always have fun when I am with her. The last time we met, with Serena, we ended up with:-
