Library In IACT

I hate it here.

Don't get me wrong. I love IACT but I just hate some of the people using the library. I understand that the library has this "allowed to talk or do discussion" rule but don't misuse the priority.

If that Indian boy were around, I hate it more here. He behaves as if he owns the fucking library. He is so noisy it annoys the living Hell out of me!

More later. I am getting airy. Hungry more likely.

Classes Today

...

Was awesome. Especially Photography :)

Immy, Patrick and I were together most of the time taking pictures from across Jaya One! :D

Mr. Loong wanted 4 photos from us and we did it. Within that 2 hours. It was cool! :D

More later. Kinda sleepy!

Photography and The Past

Was AWESOME!

I finally know how to PROPERLY use aperture, shutter speed and ISO. I used to have this friend who taught me briefly and when I asked him about ISO, he just said it wasn't important.

Bastard.

No. Hypocrite.

But that guy had always been that way. I once told him I wanted a D90 and he told me, "D90 isn't that good.." BUT, on his wishlist? A D90.

Jee. I don't like people like that.

Anyway, yesterday's class was awesome. We had a lot of fun in the class. The Darksiders were sitting at the back. Who are the Darksiders in Photography class? Daniel, Immy, Levi, Jason Chen and me. There were two other Darksiders weren't that familiar with us, so I had to count them out.

Hm. Can't wait for next week. Outing with the class! YEY!

Somehow

Dr. David finds PUNCTUALITY important. He seems to be someone my Dad would like. I am so sorry for anyone who disagree but we are lucky that people like Dr. David is still flexible with us. What if such thing were to happen in the working world? Or in a FOREIGN country?

I think it is my advantage of having an EX-POLICE father. Policemen habits die hard in my Dad. When he says, "Wake up at 7.30 and be in the living room downstairs by 8 am." We HAVE to be there by 8 am.

As much as I hate to admit it, I like being in Kuching instead of being here in KL... I wake up early by practise there, many thanks to my Dad but when I go home to Mont Kiara, I wake up early. Wait. Let me rephrase that, I prefer staying in a house with my parents around.

I don't like waking up late because by waking up late, I waste time. I don't like people waiting for me but I don't mind waiting for people who've set a time for me ESPECIALLY elders.

UNLESS.

You have NO CHOICE to be late. At least, INFORM.. but when it comes to elders like parents or relatives or lecturers, I find it AWKWARD..

But I find PUBLIC TRANSPORT here in MALAYSIA is a HINDRANCE. Like today, KLRapid - normally, morning buses, by around 8.15 am, the bus should be around but today, 8.25 am, the guy came. The thought of WALKING for 15 minutes is a pain UNLESS I have NO choice or I get tired of waiting.

But IN Kuching, I have a car and I have to depend on the stupid idiots on the road other than that, there is no problem.

Eventually, as punctual as we try to be, there will always be a hindrance somehow. Something ALWAYS come up but it can be avoided. Owh well.

But where CLASSES are concerned, I don't like being late without being questioned UNLESS my reason are reasonable. I am not criticizing anyone because being late is unavoidable IF there is a valid reason to be late. And when I say VALID, I meant an HONEST reason of being late.

APART FROM THAT, Dr. David's jokes reminds me of my Dad's. LEG PULLING! XD

OH MY GOD!

Santana is Malaysian! XD

Will tell later. IF I remember.

This Morning's Post

I woke up extra early so I could catch the bus to go to college and guess what.. the bus didn't come until after 30 minutes! I waited since 7.51 am and the bus came only at 8.25 am! I was almost cursing like nobody's business but there was some good then since I had a dose of Vitamin (D) Sun. Haha!

Currently in Dr. David's Sociology class.

Whoa.

He actually remember our names and the thing is, I AGREE that doors should be locked at 9.15 am because classes should start at 9 am and people should be punctual.

More later.

Beast: Men or the Tigers?

LOOK AT THEM, so pretty.

Tigers are gorgeous animals. They symbolises strength and beauty.

Currently, I am doing an intense research on Malayan Tigers. And it breaks my heart knowing the statistics of their populations. In the 1970s, there were about 3000 tigers in the Malayan jungle but now only about 500 remain, struggling to survive. You may think that, "Ah, 500... there are still plenty of them in the wild." I disagree. That 500 are struggling to survive as we, man, encroach into their territory. Tigers, like their smaller relatives or like any other animals are very territorial. They were once a danger, now they are endangered.

From my research, tigers do not prey on human but lately, with less territory for them to roam, they are getting more and more aggressive.

SOMEONE told me that it was good that tigers are getting endangered and God knows how angry I was and how it was making me burn with anger. The argument was that tigers were a threat to humans. Come on, they are animals, it is their natural instinct to attack. They need to survive. And being as selfish as human can possibly get, we blame the animal for attacking when we are the ones entering their territory and destroying their habitat. Who is to blame? Not the tigers. But we, humans.

We are destroying their homes. How would YOU feel if someone destroy YOUR home? That is exactly how a tiger feel.

And MEN poaches tigers to eat their genitals for aphrodisiac purposes and other parts for "MEDICAL" purposes.

There are getting less and less tigers. Thanks to poaching and deforestation.

Pledge Your Support!

So? Who are the real beast here?

Think about it.

Pecha Kucha Night

EVENT : Pecha Kucha Night
VENUE : Capsquare, KL
WHO WENT: Aaron. Austin. Bryan. Dandy. Doreen & friend. Fatihah. Jane. Jared. Jason Chai. Jason Kuek. Patrick. Miss Jo & friend. Me :)

Honestly, I was reluctant to go but I got my big fat butt out of bed and eventually went. Guess what. I enjoyed myself. Very much.

Jared took me from the house at around 5 something and we met Aaron, Bryan, Dandy, Jane, Jason and Patrick at Old Town, Jaya One and we (Dandy, Jared, Jason, Patrick and I) left at almost 6 in order to beat any possible jam. Thank God, Patrick knew the short cut to Capsquare, which was in the middle of the city. When we arrived, we met up with Aaron, Bryan, Jane, Miss Jo and her friend. We ended up at Tappers for drinks since we were 1 hour and 45 minutes early. At that time, I was still in a daze but after a cup of hot chocolate, I felt energetic! All it needed was a cup of hot chocolate! Yey! Next time I know :)

However, when the time came, we went to the place where they held the Pecha Kucha Night. I was quite surprised to see it in a small area and they had the coolest things, DOOF BEAN BAGS. They were costly but they are AWESOME! :D

The host was Fahmi Fadzil - who, I think, is a movie producer? There were 10 speakers tonight, most were Caucasians. I didn't enjoy all of the presenter's presentation especially those ladies from Tongue-In-Chic. They were talking too much on fashion and fashion ISN'T my thing since I like my own fashion just the way it is.

The exhibition was awesome. They had these condoms with cute packagings and here are pictures. I will upload them via blogger since I don't think I have the patience to upload with Photobucket. Haha.

Pretty awesome egh? :D More later? I guess.

I posted these pictures because I thought they were the best.

LATER :)

"Hire Me" Poster

I had to redo.

My first two ideas was good but too cliche...

I seriously hope my LATEST idea is something that isn't cliche.

HINT: It is very naughty :D

Stopping now before I blab my ideas out.

Another Day

I never thought that soap research is tough. Palmolive. Who uses bar soap nowadays? -_-"

I can't imagine sharing bar soaps with anyone because I do not want to IMAGINE where they've washed themselves with that particular bar of soap! -__-"

What if.

Yes.

What if a guy uses the soap to masturbate?

Ever thought of that? :D

Owh well, this pays for being surrounded by crazy boys as housemates. New boy, who will be sharing room with Waqi will come in on Friday. Malay kid, Waqi said. Owh well.

I seriously hope he is as crazy as all of us in this house unit :)

I think, God had given me more than I had asked for. Funny and crazy housemates. We goof around and I think, as V had said, we've violated probably 80% of the rules. HAHA!

Hm. More later.

One Week Into April

Yes, I hadn't blogged been quite busy with college and getting sick.

I finally nailed my Mass Communication assignment. Due date's tomorrow and I handed mine in today. Haha! Happy.

More soon. Not sure how soon but soon.

New Housemate

Yes. Yesterday, the plan to sleep early last night was an epic fail.

A new housemate joined us. Lai Yee and I ended up retiring to our rooms at 3 am!

One Malay boy will be coming in soon. Vince will be coming back soon.

LOL!

Epic Quotes

"In IP Man 2, they show how IP Man creates his IP address."

"Did you know Tom Cruise owns the biggest cruise in the world? And Taylor Swift was a tailor? She sews very fast."

Mr. Tan Meng Yoe

"If you're shy (to Levi), then I am Virgin Mary."

Ms. Suhana

Haha!

Epic Mr. Tan Meng Yoe Quotes

"Anybody can be Akon; just keep smacking it."

Haha. Yes, my lecturer actually said that in class today. That man is awesome. Some people might not like him though because he can get really frank and sarcastic but people like those just need more than a dose of sense of humour.

Lecturers Of The Year

If I were to rate top three lecturers of IACT, I would sound bias but then this is honesty.

NUMBER 3 : Mr. Tan Meng Yoe

He is our Mass Communication lecturer. He is NOTORIOUS for his Ah Beng jokes and his cynical thoughts about our "neighbour" :) Our class is always noisy when he is teaching. Personally, the one thing I find about Mr. Tan awesome is he reminds me of many people I know back home in Kuching and my elder sister would consider him a good friends because he loves GRAPHIC NOVEL - to be exact, Superman.

EPIC WIN QUOTE: "If I make a joke, and you guys don't laugh, I will deduct 5% from your assignment marks." (OF COURSE HE WAS JOKING!)

* * * * *

NUMBER 2 : Ms. Suhana

She is our Presentation Skills lecturer. Ms. Su, somehow, has a lot of interesting opinion about anything under the sun. She is very interesting. Again, she reminds me of a friend from back home, how happened to be a Sarawakian newspaper editor. She maybe our lecturer, but she is often seen at the mamak with the students. Also, Ms. Su has plenty of epic win quotes but I can't remember all, except, ONE..

EPIC WIN QUOTE: "Are you registered to vote? If you are not, then you trust the government. So, don't complain when the price of petrol going up!"

* * * * *

NUMBER 1 : Mr. Lawrence

Your first impression when he walks into Creative Thinking would be, "Old man. He might be boring." He wouldn't be boring if I put him at number one now, would I? Contrary to how we look at him, Mr. Lawrence is AWESOME. He is very open with us all. He treats us like adults. My sisters would love him if he were to teach them. He, at times, remind me of my Dad.

EPIC WIN QUOTE: "If I'm the second ugliest man in this world, who is the ugliest man? Lim Kok Wing."

* * * * *

I compare my IACT lecturers with my SEGi College lecturers. Oh. My. GOD! BIG DIFFERENCE! I got this cultural shock and it hit me like a heatwave!

When I was in SEGi, I was nothing but miserable. Not only the subjects were dry as overtoasted bread, the lecturer delivered the subject monotonously.

Forget about SUCKS (SEGi University College Kuching, Sarawak)

Anyway, there was something on the roof, I freaked out, I just had to close my window! -_-" Scratching and weird sounds. Now, my room is hot like a sauna room :(

Birthday Pictures

I wanted to post it on but Celcom Broadband was being a bitch, so I couldn't do anything about it. Since the connection is okay now, I will post it on.

Not many pictures but better a few than none, right? :)

The awesome cupcakes from Wondermilk.
(NOTE: The one with the peanut butter frosting is super duper AWESOME!)

The Stitch Clement gave me.. Aww *hugs*
(Clement is our "Ketua Kampung" and he is fun to have in the class)

The picture Jason Kuek drew and signed by the others.
(Jason is the oldest person in our class and VERY VERY artistic)

These are all the pictures of the things I got on that day. Sorry to Daniel for not posting in the Kinder Bueno White because I was munching on it when I was walking home that day! I was hungry. I can't help it.

Of all my life as a student, IACT 201001 are the best classmates I've ever have. They are fun people to be with... ALWAYS full of surprises :)

Stopping now.

OWH OWH... Nuril made this for me this evening. Hehe. SO CUTE!

HEHEHEH!! I am going Stitch crazy again! I have to look for that shop in 1 Utama!

Classes Today

Mr. Tan didn't come in as he had to do something but we had Joanna Lee (the other Joanna Lee, I mean) I find her pretty awesome since the workshop the other day, too. The Blur Blast Lecturer. Hehe.

Anyway, we were talking about GLOBALIZATION during Mass Communication class and since the word GLOBALIZATION is such a mouthful, Joanna said to call it the "G-Word" and SOME smart ass (yours truly) said, "that sounded wrong!" *laughs*

I kinda enjoyed classes today despite me being tired and sweaty and hungry.

Jeen Pei, Joey, Syaf and I ended up at 1 Utama to have sushi. It was awesome. Honestly, cheaper than Sushi King, too. Tomorrow, I might be going out with my housemate, Lai Yee.

Day after tomorrow would be... my birthday... NOT looking forward to it, unfortunately. I feel like there will be some fun to it with my friends but honestly, I am so used to celebrating my birthdays with my parents, sisters and even my beloved Aunty Mimi.

Owh, which reminds me, I miss Aunty Mimi. Aunty Mimi is like a mother to my sisters and I when my Mum isn't in Kuching. I enjoy going out with her for a few things... She always have something to talk about especially her beloved (Aunty) June. The other thing about Aunty Mimi is, NOBODY would believe her age. She is NOT in her 50s or 60s. She is older than that and she look like as if she is still around my Mum's age (NOTE: my Mum is in her late 50s).

Anyway, tomorrow, I will be having Computer Graphics. Honestly, I dread CG assignments because I SUCK at the pen tool! LOL!

I should try hit the sacks now. I am sleepy. I shouldn't have drunk the Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino. I bought it because I loved the taste AND THE BOTTLE. Yes, I am still obsessed with bottle collecting! I don't like the other two flavours. I prefer the mocha.

Hehe, and today at 1 Utama, ended with disappointment. I FOUND MY OLD CHANG KEE BUT... NO CARROT CAKE! T__T

After Midnight Ramblings

We've got a Creative Thinking 'assignment'.

That is to make a name tag. Here is mine.

Sorry, will be unveiled on Thursday. Haha. Basic idea on what I did with mine. I am still debating with myself, to colour manually or via Photoshop...

OR, will I continue using this design I made (thanks to a certain artist, whom I love so much!) or do it by hand?

I need to dig up some stuff from my hard disk to get my original stuff from before. My Photoshop skills got kinda rusty, which suck. Haha! And I am still looking for those pictures where Mat Sap and I shot at the Whiteroom.

I miss the Whiteroom! When I get back to Kuching, I think, I will pay Mat Sap a visit! And I hope Bob won't be going to that stupid (GROUP NAME)'s Picnic.

I think it is USELESS they organise such events on Chinese New Year. They don't have Chinese friends to visit? -_-" Jee, UNLIKE THEM, we have Chinese friends who are better friends than THEM to visit. Akim hates them to the max and I don't like their selfishness and the DIRTY POLITICS they play as a TEAM. Hello! You are supposed to be a team. You are supposed to WORK together NOT backstab each other!

Moving on with something more important or relevant to blog about besides THAT SELFISH group.

More importantly, I hope Juliana and I will go karaoke at Embassy during her off days. I want to rerecord our BOYZONE sessions :) and a few other songs dedicated to Serena.

AND, my date with my lesbian lover, Della. Haha. (NOTE: I am not really a lesbian... we are just wacky that way!) OIY! We are going to Poh Kwong Park to have my FISHBALL TANGHOON SOUP WITH RIBENA!

AND, SERENA, when you go to KL, PLEASE let me know! Haha. Damn, I miss you!

Wow, it is late. I think I should stop here now. I am getting very sleepy. But the sickening part is, when I hit the bed, I end up not being able to sleep! -_-"
