Beast: Men or the Tigers?

LOOK AT THEM, so pretty.

Tigers are gorgeous animals. They symbolises strength and beauty.

Currently, I am doing an intense research on Malayan Tigers. And it breaks my heart knowing the statistics of their populations. In the 1970s, there were about 3000 tigers in the Malayan jungle but now only about 500 remain, struggling to survive. You may think that, "Ah, 500... there are still plenty of them in the wild." I disagree. That 500 are struggling to survive as we, man, encroach into their territory. Tigers, like their smaller relatives or like any other animals are very territorial. They were once a danger, now they are endangered.

From my research, tigers do not prey on human but lately, with less territory for them to roam, they are getting more and more aggressive.

SOMEONE told me that it was good that tigers are getting endangered and God knows how angry I was and how it was making me burn with anger. The argument was that tigers were a threat to humans. Come on, they are animals, it is their natural instinct to attack. They need to survive. And being as selfish as human can possibly get, we blame the animal for attacking when we are the ones entering their territory and destroying their habitat. Who is to blame? Not the tigers. But we, humans.

We are destroying their homes. How would YOU feel if someone destroy YOUR home? That is exactly how a tiger feel.

And MEN poaches tigers to eat their genitals for aphrodisiac purposes and other parts for "MEDICAL" purposes.

There are getting less and less tigers. Thanks to poaching and deforestation.
