Yes, I Know..

My life before this is very dramatic.

And I fucking hate it.

Glad I like my life now.

Once A Group of Gits, Always A Group of Gits

...................

I find that Scooter Picnic activity a waste of time, money, mileage and energy. Jay was right. Instead of wasting RM150 for such GOOD-FOR-NOTHING activities (which is the same thing EVERY SINGLE YEAR FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS), might as well go deep sea fishing! You spend the same amount of money OR EVEN LESS BUT you come back with plenty of fish to eat and share.

Wait, when I say GOOD-FOR-NOTHING activities, I mean literally NOTHING. I went to visit two years in a row. All they ever do is SLEEP in their rooms! Jeez! The activities they have would be beach football and tug of war. That is the only activities I know they often do. I remember playing Big 2 with them. The sickening part is, that is the time for them to start WHORING around. Like my fucking ex.

The last year I bothered going up to Sematan with my lowered car, in the heavy rain and driving for more than an hour ended up with pure anger, hatred and disappointment. After talking to Mel about it all, I realised why he didn't bother to wake up and get out of the house with me. His knocked-up girlfriend was there with him (only in different rooms).

Ever since, I left Sematan with memory of pain and hate. Even for the group. They knew. And those supposedly trusted ones, didn't tell me the truth. As a whole, I hated them. I know for a fact a handful did sort of warned me not to go but I didn't listen to them. I went.

Literally, I when home wet, angry and hateful. Ever since, I vowed, even if my boyfriend joined that stupid group and went with them for their stupid picnic, I won't talk to him for that 3 days! Thank God, Akim isn't stupid like them. It kinda hit me now that I know why Akim has more Chinese friends than Malay friends. His Chinese friends are hardworking. Whereas, our Malay friends are always thinking about enjoying and often jump from job to job! When they aren't making any profit because they use their money to get fucking drugs and modifications for their stupid scooters, they start bitching and whining saying their bosses aren't paying them enough!

It is annoying really. And yet these are the bunch of whiners who make fun of the hardworking Chinese. Jeez. Sometimes, that is part of the reason why I hate SOME of my Malay friends. They will come to you when you have money but when you don't have money, they abandon you. Truly, I understand why Akim ALWAYS prefer having Chinese friends, HENCE his Mandarin is BETTER than his Malay! HAHA! Plus, I had always been close to my MUM'S side of the family because they are often more open-minded!

I am not being racist, but this is just me sighing about my own race.. They had never really respected me. Why? Just because I don't enjoy ENJOYING myself the way they enjoy WASTING THEIR LIVES AND TIME? And money for drugs, too.

I should stop before I start a damn controversy.

Random Deliria

Watch this! :D

Hahaha, I love to hear Queen Latifah talk! So cute!

I've been doing that all afternoon. Watching YouTube! :D

And chatting with Juliana.

WATCH THIS! :D

My Feel Good Movie Is...

Mamma Mia!

I watched the musical first before I actually watched the movie. I loved the broadway and I knew I would love the movie. Actually, I did. I really love the way it was written.

It is my feel good movie because I am always caught singing along and laughing away when I am watching Mamma Mia!

I've watched many other MUSICALS (broadway or film) but as much as I love them all none is as fun as Mamma Mia! and The Producers, too :) I LOVE THE PRODUCERS!

That is a song from the movie. Trust me, it is VERY funny. When I first watched this movie, I laughed my head off most of the time.

Hence, making The Producers my other feel good movie! XD

LIST OF MUSICALS I NEED TO FIND ON DVD:-
  1. Grease (had always loved this movie since I was a kid)
  2. Hairspray
  3. The Producer
  4. Sweeney Todd
  5. Crybaby (JOHNNY DEPP IS SO CUTE IN THIS MOVIE!)
I think, that is on my list so far because I have The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and Cats... I will add more if I need to.

Talking about movies, I want to watch Painted Skin, again!

I finally watched Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed it. It was funny that is if you understand DRY JOKES and to those who loved the ORIGINAL Sherlock Holmes would think that he is a joke. Well, as much as I liked the original Sherlock Holmes, I enjoyed this one :) A little twisted and ALIVE.

Will blog more later. Hehe.

Writer's Block: How has your education prepared you for your current or intended career? Do you wish you had taken a different path academically?

I should have answered this question YEARS ago when I was doing my LLB in SEGi College! Let's make an assumption I am still studying the boring subject at that idiot college.

*ahem* Wait, let me make myself comfortable with the question.

I was supposed to take up law because my Dad needed someone (an heir) to take over the company. I had NEVER liked law because I am NOT the type of person who has no emotions. I get very emotional. I hate it most when people pushes my buttons. It annoys me, big time.

Law was too theoretical for me. I may like reading but trust me, when you read law, you can't even put any song into the things you read from those extremely thick textbooks and all those dead guys... If wasn't for A.C Dicey, I would have been a LAWYER already but NOOOOO, he insisted LAW to be studied in universities!

Jeez!

Thank God, I stopped making myself suffer with THEORIES like the GOLDEN RULE or the LITERAL RULES or my estranged mine to be disturbed with the Blaue case... Eww. I am not a very follow-by-the-law kind of person and my Dad expects me to be a LAWYER?

Now, I am taking Mass Communication at IACT College (some AWESOME (and I MEAN IT) college) in Petaling Jaya. It is more of my thing because our minds are opened up to be creative and there is NO such thing as a WRONG answer. And for the first time, we are told to watch movies, read more books, and OPEN OUR MINDS. In other words, to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.

I should stop now, I feel like my mouth is bleeding.. Shit. I hate it when this happens. It means I lack sleep (or slept a little bit too much)...

I think, I should go now... But then again...

WHAT THE FUCK?

ANOTHER FIRE NEAR GAMBIER ROAD, KUCHING? THE OTHER DAY WAS GAMBIER ROAD ITSELF, NOW IT IS WAYANG STREET? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THAT AREA?

Hmm, since last year, that area has been catching fire all the time. First it was Ted Lim's shop which was further up. Then it was FAH company (which was totally wiped out by the fire) and now.. nearer to the temple... OH MY GOD, I HOPE BISHOP'S GATE WON'T BE THE NEXT PLACE!! This time, it is nearer to my old school. The tattoo parlour. The 7th Slavery? Hmm. I hope not too bad. I used to love walking by there..

Why can't SOME people just reserve the area since it is the oldest area of the city? The area with the most historical background? Jeez.

That is our city's heritage. The problem is, if someone stands up for Gambier Street's rights, that someone will get into trouble. Argh! STUPID!

I had my say!

WHAT THE FUCK?

RM2 FOR ONLY THE GRAVY AND A FEW PIECES OF MEAT AND POTATOES?

ARGH!!! ASSHOLES!

Misery Right Through Me

My first miserable post this year? Probably. I am feeling miserable. It started raining when I was walking to that damn mamak stall (who changes their price EVERY FUCKING TIME I fucking go there!)

Today what made matters worse, I was walking in the rain so I arrived there cold, miserable and wet.. I went there and said, "Boleh saya beli lauk saja?" And as he was about to give me the plastic, I said, "Boleh beli kari RM2 saja?" And he looked at me as if I was joking! "RM2 saja kah?" Being already tired, miserable and fucking wet, I sighed. He finally gave in and poured in the curry for me.

I didn't smile until I gave him the money. The cute part about it all, when he looked at me in such a state, he looked like as if he gave me RM4 worth of curry!

As I walked back home to the apartment, the rain was cold. The homesick feeling came. I felt like I miss home more than I claim to enjoy myself here. I don't hate this place but I just hate the situation I am in. I am so far away from varieties. Being a Muslim, it is hard for me to buy food from the places around here because EVERYTHING (except that stupid cut throat Mamak) contains pork. If they have vegetarians ONLY, I won't mind too much or fishball or seafood. The places with no pork or lard, are so damn expensive!

Maybe, this experience had taught me to love my family more. It brought us closer. I miss home. I admit. I seriously do.

I will blog about home later. Right now. I am feeling like, there will be an emotional breakdown if I continue any longer.

Lunch

Today's lunch was the saddest I've ever had.

Rice and egg. With no Tong Nam soy sauce.

LOL!

What I Love Most About Chinese New Year

REUNION DINNERS!

Last year, we had our reunion dinner at my place. It was brief but it was the one thing we cousins always look forward to.

This year, Athena is bigger and naughtier. Plus, Grandpa is back (for good) from Australia after how many years with HIS WIFE there. After the Wife DIED, he came back. That woman wasn't my grandmother.

So sorry to sound harsh but that woman was a bit mean to my Mum.

Will blog later. I managed to cook rice, now looking for other source of food to eat with rice. *sighs*

What Reminds Me Of Who (Kuching Edition)

Whenever I listen to High School Musical songs, I'll think of Juliana.

Whenever I say the world Princey, I'll think of Serena.

Whenever I read a why-did-the-Chicken-cross-the-road joke, I'll think of Della.

Whenever I hear people speaking Mandarin, I'll think of Akim (who is constantly on my mind).

Whenever I come across a Playboy logo, I'll think of Bob.

Whenever I see anything Hello Kitty, I'll think of Athena.

Whenever I meet anyone with Converse shoes, I'll think of Nuril.

Whenever I walk by an outdoor shop, I'll think of Embok Fariah and Syuk.

Whenever I make a decision, I'll think of my parents.

Whenever I overhear a gossip, I'll think of my beloved Aunty Mimi.

Whenever I think of Sarawakian food, I'll think of Dedek (since he bullies me a lot about it!)

.......... TOO MANY!!

After Midnight Ramblings

We've got a Creative Thinking 'assignment'.

That is to make a name tag. Here is mine.

Sorry, will be unveiled on Thursday. Haha. Basic idea on what I did with mine. I am still debating with myself, to colour manually or via Photoshop...

OR, will I continue using this design I made (thanks to a certain artist, whom I love so much!) or do it by hand?

I need to dig up some stuff from my hard disk to get my original stuff from before. My Photoshop skills got kinda rusty, which suck. Haha! And I am still looking for those pictures where Mat Sap and I shot at the Whiteroom.

I miss the Whiteroom! When I get back to Kuching, I think, I will pay Mat Sap a visit! And I hope Bob won't be going to that stupid (GROUP NAME)'s Picnic.

I think it is USELESS they organise such events on Chinese New Year. They don't have Chinese friends to visit? -_-" Jee, UNLIKE THEM, we have Chinese friends who are better friends than THEM to visit. Akim hates them to the max and I don't like their selfishness and the DIRTY POLITICS they play as a TEAM. Hello! You are supposed to be a team. You are supposed to WORK together NOT backstab each other!

Moving on with something more important or relevant to blog about besides THAT SELFISH group.

More importantly, I hope Juliana and I will go karaoke at Embassy during her off days. I want to rerecord our BOYZONE sessions :) and a few other songs dedicated to Serena.

AND, my date with my lesbian lover, Della. Haha. (NOTE: I am not really a lesbian... we are just wacky that way!) OIY! We are going to Poh Kwong Park to have my FISHBALL TANGHOON SOUP WITH RIBENA!

AND, SERENA, when you go to KL, PLEASE let me know! Haha. Damn, I miss you!

Wow, it is late. I think I should stop here now. I am getting very sleepy. But the sickening part is, when I hit the bed, I end up not being able to sleep! -_-"

The Boyband Impact

Yesterday, my classmates and I went to Red Box at The Curve (it is waaaaay more expensive than any of the k-boxes at home in Kuching, to think Embassy has a branch in Ipoh, Embassy is waayy cheaper..) and I was thinking MADLY of Juliana.

One moment, please.

NOTE TO JUL: AKU RINDU KAU, TAUK SIK? CDAK KOKE LAGU CELINE DION, MY HEART WILL GO ON, NANG KAU AJAK LAM PALAK AKU!! SIK SABAR AKU MOK BALIT KUCHING AND WE NAIL BOYZONE AND CELINE DION SONGS! Plus, TUTS MY BARREH and KEN LEE! We must head to Embassy. I think I prefer Embassy rather than any other places. Not saying that Enter K ya sik best or Pop Wave for that matter, tapi Embassy best gik with the FREE HOUR and all and the parking space being RM2 despite on how long you are at Spring. I am sorry but I am so going to upload our No Matter What session with Serena. That video makes me feel emo despite my GUILTY PLEASURE and all! :D Tapi songs selection (ENGLISH SONGS) are better in Red Box than anywhere else in Kuching. Egh, we should try K-11! Akim and I went the other day to survey but sik masok lah because time ya mek duak tengah pokai gila babi. Haha! So, we should try when I get home to Kuching. You've got TWO WEEKS to date me :)

Okay, back. Had to ramble a bit to Juliana since she is ALWAYS my karaoke partner.

I was watching the video of the three of us (Jul, Serena and I) when we were at Embassy, The Spring singing No Matter What by Boyzone. I love that song. I don't give a damn if people criticize Boyzone just because of Steo being GAY. The thing remains that because of Boyzone, I found two friends who ended up being my BEST FRIENDS.

Serena and I were friends since we were in St. Thomas Kindergarten in 1989 (yes, seeing those figures make me feel VERY old) but we weren't close until about 10 years later. BECAUSE OF BOYZONE. Not going too in depth with the story.

Juliana and I became friends in 1998 during the basketball club... We were talking about something and we became close. She was crazy about Take That back then and I was already crazy over Boyzone!

Back in the late 90s, boybands were the IN thing and I still think BOYBANDS are still good to listen to.

Oh, here is a video I edited of the three of us doing No Matter What :)

Hope you enjoyed it. That is what we do in Kuching. That is EMBASSY at the Spring. If the quality isn't that good, well, it is because I just uploaded the video up into my blog.

Hehe, yes, this is a video dedicated to Stephen Gately (1976 - 2009)

May his soul R.I.P.

Skype Sessions With The Sisters and The Niece

I was on Skype with my sisters back home and this is what happen.

Athena and Nuril at the beginning.

Then, Athena started running around like crazy! The she climbed the sofa. Then was caught in the act.

Was told to sit down after that.

Hehehe. I did not get other pictures after that because she was moving too fast and I was lagging.

My God, she's grown so big and extra naughty.

Can't wait to Skype with them again soon. No! Can't wait to HUG her! :D

Time Flies.

Holy crap! I just realised it is 5 pm! No wonder Nuril went crazy on Facebook!

To Do List

  1. Rot in the house.
  2. Rot in the house.
  3. Talk to the fish when Lai Yee goes home.
  4. Stay at home.
  5. Starve to death.
  6. Catch up with sleep.
  7. Laundry.
  8. Reorganise room.
  9. Work on assignment.

Seriously, my life is boring. If there is Astro in this house, I would have already camped outside my bedroom. I am sure Lai Yee would, too. Haha.

A Letter To An Odd Duckie From Her Aunty Turkey

Dearest Athena,

Hello, Adeng, how are you? Have you been a good girl? I hope you did not give your Mak Wen a hard time chasing you around while you run around the house crazily. I know you made your Mummy go crazy and your Ibu Nuwil go cuckoo. I am sorry because I did not call the house to talk to you. I have been busy and every time I got home, I felt tired.

Did you do your homework? I hope when I go home later on, you can say more words than MAMAM, ABAH, JA JA, NANA and other little words you like to say.

Before I finish this blog entry which is written FOR you. Be a good girl, okay? Don't be naughty.

Love, Ibu Jaja...

!!

You know what is sickening?

I CAN'T SLEEP! -_-"

BUT I AM DAMN SLEEPY.

Help?

I AM PISSED!

FUCKING HELL, CELCOM...

WHY MUST YOU LAG LIKE HELL TONIGHT? Why must you lag when I have ideas flowing into my head?

Are you UPDATING or something? If you are, please inform your customers instead of letting them getting angry at the slowwwww connection? -_-"

Right now, I am TEMPTED to pull out my modem and throw it against the wall. Seriously. I hate it. If this continues till tomorrow, I think I might rot to death in my room tomorrow onwards till Sunday! :(

WHAT THE --?

I am seriously trying not to curse too much. I am seriously trying to stay calm and cool but I will die of boredom over the weekend.

No wonder I can't get onto my YouTube :( I think, right now, I will try figure out InDesign since my internet connection sucks!

Musicals and Me

I love musicals. Really, I do. They are not guilty pleasures like SOME other things but they are well known facts that I LOVE musicals. Sharing some selections here.

Johnny Depp actually sang in the movie! xD The REAL Sweeney Todd is an old tard! Not a hot old man like JOHNNY DEPP! :P

Something else new like We Will Rock You.

Will put in more. Enjoy yourself, right :)

From Avenue Q - listen to this one, it is HILARIOUS.

I wish I could go watch We Will Rock You and American Idiot. So far I've seen The Phantom of the Opera (in New York, yo!), Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Mamma Mia!... I want to watch Les Miserables, The Lion King, Wicked, Hairspray... *sighs*

I don't know HOW many times have I bitched and whine about musicals! I've seen The Phantom of the Opera ON BROADWAY and I am still NOT satisfied :(

Hitting It!

Something just hit me when I was listening to Seether's version of Careless Whisper and I just realised that that song is VERY KINKY.

It did hit me before but I never got around to talking about it. Haha. Della and I have been talking about it alot when we go around before she got a job and I went back to school.

Anyway, right now, I feel like watching GREASE.

Owh, there is another thing I want to put into my blog...

My new best friend in Petaling Jaya

My Laila (or Leila) back home in Kuching, who lives with Akim :)

Cute, eh? :D

Anyway, since I am chatting with Jane now and she kinda sorta reminded me of something. I AM SO SORRY TO AKIM (if you are reading this, By, don't kill me kay? I am just repeating what my AWESOME lecturer said today)

EPIC QUOTE OF THE WEEK:-

"Anyone of you from Lim Kok Wing? That joke from Cyberjaya?"

In the back of my mind, I was like, "EPIC! DITTO SIR!!" Back in Kuching, we thought the same, too :D But I hated SEGi College more. To me, SEGi College is the worse of all lousy jokes ever! Psst, although Joey thinks her jokes are lame, SEGi is LAMEST of all the LAMEST!

I compare my life in IACT with SEGi College. I noticed, I LOVED IACT College. Answer is simple, for ONCE in my life of 25 years and 10 months, I hear a lecturer telling me to dream and there is NO wrong in any answer.

When I was in SEGi College, Kuching... It was so.. monotonous. The lecturers literally put you to sleep. They are good but they are not interesting.

OH MY GOD! I JUST FOUND SOMETHING I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! (since my stupid memory card in my phone crashed *cries*)

I LOVE THAT GIRL! This picture was taken at The Curve when we were having breakfast at Chocolate :D I love the horns. She had a halo, too but we couldn't take a picture of her with both the horns and halo on because that THING is just too fast moving!

She is the Odd Duckie and I am her Turkey.. I should change my blog name to Odd Duckie's Turkey's Blog.

Or I should open a blog DEDICATED to my Odd Duckie! xD

I am still counting the days till I get home. Haha!

February 11th 2010, COME QUICK. I want to hug little Adeng... *loves!!* And sleep in my own bedroom where I can cover myself with TWO COMFORTERS! xD

SERIOUSLY!

Will blog later when I am more inspired.. My room right now is seriously cold, so I think, it will be wise if I just sit outside till I feel extremely sleepy :D

As it is, I am getting rather blurry eyed. I am getting typos in my conversation boxes on Yahoo! Messenger... what more my blog? -_-"

More. Later!

Ramblings

Okay, about today. Today ROCKS. It is not like I'm being prejudice against any other days but although today means separated from what is nearest to home, today rocks after all.

Before that... What is with the video? Well, I have that song STUCK in my head now besides having Don McLean's Vincent stuck in my head... ...

I blame my text tone for Alone which was ORIGINALLY by Heart NOT Celine Dion OR the Glee cast... :)

Okay. What happened in class today...?

Today, we had Presentation Skills and Creative Thinking...

I totally ENJOYED CREATIVE THINKING.

For the first time in my life, I get a lecturer telling us in class to actually have fun and go watch movies and tell us that WE ARE ALL CREATIVE. I wish SEGi College was that way, let alone, LAW... I am so glad I quit studying law.

If not, I will be like one of those zombies in SEGi College.

Will blog soon.

It is 11.20 pm actually, was watching Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs with my housemate. Guess who I liked :D

STEVE THE MONKEY! :D

From My Window

Hehe, I love this picture. The best picture I've taken since I've been in KL and since I downgraded myself to only a semi-pro camera. I was using a DSLR (Nikon D80 to be exact) until I had problems with it so I had to sell it off. Hehe. Better than having no camera at all.

... (part II)

I forgot to announce that today is my Dad's birthday :D

I hope he is having a good time in London. Thank God they arrived safely. Can't wait for my parents to come back on the 10th so I can go home to Mont Kiara and then go home to Kuching the very next day! :D

OH MY GOD, THE BIRD HAS GONE WORSE THAN CUCKOO! -_-"

Gotta go now, I want sleep.

...

Holy crap. I hate my room in Petaling Jaya... Seriously. When it is too hot, it gets too hot but when it is too cold.. Oh. My. God... It is too cold. I am actually sleepy now..

Need some shut eye. CAN'T STAND IF ANYMORE :(
