Not only I hate my keyboard but today, Nuril and I truly turn a lot of heads around :D I was out since morning and I wore my Liverpool jersey. So, when I went home to fetch Nuril to get dinner, I had a weird feeling she would wear her new Arsenal jersey.
To my surprised, I saw her walking out of the door wearing her Arsenal jersey. I laughed and she stopped dead, also, only to laugh. She came into the car and said, "I had a feeling you would wear your jersey today!"
It was hilarious. It was like as if we made a promise to wear our jerseys. Haha! So, we went to Tun Jugah and I noticed a lot of people were kinda looking at us because we were girls, wearing our favorite football team jerseys. To think these two girls, who came together, were wearing different teams and if people knew she was my sister would have thought, "One sister support Liverpool. The other support Arsenal."
It happened. Don't think it didn't. It happened at Hopoh! Apparently, Nuril heard the conversation when she went to the waffle stand. He told his friend he saw one girl wearing a Liverpool jersey and then he saw Nuril and said, "The other one was wearing an Arsenal jersey!" as he indicated it was Nuril there.
Seriously. Today, Nuril and I really got the 'stop and stare' treatment. People were looking at us as if we were aliens. Hello? What to do if we are GIRLS who love football and support our favorite teams? Wait. What to do if we have different favorite teams when we are sisters? Haha! I think that is why people stopped and stared at us.
It was a nice evening though for us. Because. We actually made people realised that we girls want equal rights. Those with prejudice can go rot in hell :D
