Shari sat down quietly in her room thinking about Mike. Along with what her brother, Larry had said about Mike. She didn't understand it at first.
"The only reason why Mike cannot let go of you, it because of your heart. You never fail to understand him. You never neglect him. You never stopped believing and building confidence into him."
After Mike had poured out his heart, she understood why they were still together despite of all the problems they've faced. It was true. She was his place when he was facing a problem. She was the one place where he poured his heart out to. She understood him.
She could only hope and pray that his family would appreciate him. He was ALWAYS there for his family... his mother... his siblings. But she realised, when he gets into trouble, none of them would even stop and look. Yet, she knew, she was the one who was always by his side. She also knew, she would always want to be by his side. In times of hardship and in times of leisure.
She had to admit it, that was the only way she could show that she loved him... And no one could replace him.
Don't ask where I got the inspiration from ;) It suddenly came into my head. I am sleepy now. Better stop. Too much petrol fume in my body system. Argh!
