Let me tell you a story.
Today, Miss A was in a hurry to get to a certain place. So, on her way, a car was tailgating her. In front of her, was a BIG FAT BLACK CAR. The driver wasn't driving very fast. She thought, if she had slammed on her brakes, the idiot behind her would ram right at her. But she decided to overtake. As she was about to overtake him, he (the big fatso) actually accelerated and nearly hit her. But he honked at her then TAILGATED her until to the point where she was heading to.
Unfortunately for her, he came out from his car, the man started screaming like a MENTALLY ILL HEADCASE. With a torchlight in his hands, knocking roughly at her window. As he started screaming "You want me to die, is it?" and "I smash your fucking car!" and "I beat your fucking head!" and "I will be watching you!". She felt the anger within her. She was tempted to scream back at him saying, "whose car is bigger, yours or mine? If you had hit me, I would have gotten it bad!" but did she?
Stupid bitch said nothing.
Instead, she explained though with a choke in her throat saying that if she had continued at the lane before cutting in front of him, but the bastard just continued shouting at her. With no more patience within her, while he was shouting at her, she had to scream angrily, "OKAY, I AM SORRY!" Only then, he went away. Fast. After talking in Chinese over the phone. Giving to the call recipient her plate number and car type.
Later, the guards who were watching told her to go home straight. She had explained to them what happened. They knew she was angry because harsh words and angry tears started coming along. Instead of going home straight, she contacted her boyfriend. Being protective, he got angry and wanted to go look for the guy. But she told him don't bother. She felt she was 'abused' and she remembered in the Holy Koran it says that an abused soul's prayer will be answered. She prayed hard. Since it was a DEATH he wanted in his BIG car, that is what she will pray for him. She was angry. She felt abused. Her boyfriend, then told her to contact her uncle, who knew almost everyone in town. She contacted him while her boyfriend contacted her brother. Her brother suggested that she report to the police. She did decide on it when she was driving to rendezvous with her boyfriend. She intended to report that car driver for THREAT. After telling her uncle the story. He said he would help her out.
Turns out, he called her a few hours later asking, "Are you sure you gave me the right plate number?" She was quite shock and said she was sure. The answer that came out, "He is a police officer."
WHAT THE FUCK?
A POLICE OFFICER? A POLICE OFFICER TALKING LIKE A GANGSTER? It would be understandable IF they person he was handling was a real criminal! By right, the situation should be handled professionally, NOT unethnically! The way he handled Miss A was really UNPROFESSIONAL! The way he should have handled her was ASKED her WHY did she drive the way she did... instead of screaming, "You want me to die, is it?"
Logically, compared to his car, her car was small. She could easily lost her life if he had hit her hard. Her car would damage more easily than his. Why did he behave as if his life was at stake? He was at the safer side. She wasn't. Why did he feel like his life was threated? People these days. Overly dramatic. When he asked her, "You want me to die, is it?", he was being selfish. Why was he selfish? He was thinking of HIMSELF but NOT other people. Not the car who was tailgating her from behind. He would have died if she had braked suddenly! Why didn't he think of other people instead of himself? To think he is a police officer!
Ever since, Miss A declared to people who knew about the situation, "I hate Chinese policemen." She specifically said, "CHINESE POLICEMEN". This can start racism. It is ATTITUDE like this gives BAD IMPRESSION to a POLICEMAN and to his race.
Either that, it is PURE MALE EGO. Maybe he felt threaten that a girl actually is confident when driving dangerously. But he shouldn't have done what he did. He shouldn't have screamed at her asking whether she wanted him to die. Or threaten her saying he want to smash her car or bash her head. Or use that torchlight to tap, no not tap, KNOCK on her window. It was very unprofessional of him.
She had a defense, in case he didn't know. She found out he was a police officer and she was THREATEN by a police officer like a gangster would threat another person. Only then, it was concluded.
Now, we all know WHY people normally HATE the police. I am sorry to actually blog about this. The police actually misuse their power.. they don't do things professionally anymore. Some of them accept bribery, some of them acts like a gangster.
So, what is there to respect towards them?
Now I know why people HATE the police. It is all due to their own faults in misusing power.
